Project: Oscar - Online Scholarhip, Creativity and Research

A new website was needed to showcase faculty research at the University of Virginia College of Arts & Sciences. Process: Developed an entire system for collecting and automating information to display dynamically to the public using ASP, SQL Server database and a content management system based on XML/XSLT.

Results

• System automatically generated a website for each faculty member at the University
• Easy-to-use website with ability to search thousands of projects
• Data entered into the system was automatically re-purposed for multiple publications and websites including newsletters and blogs, search engine listings and news feeds
